About the Job:

Recruitment

  • Utilize, optimize and maximize multiple recruitment channels
  • Help compose, post and market jobs on relevant websites and apps, ensuring accuracy of all external postings
  • Develop and deploy creative (out of the box) recruitment strategies and initiatives
  • Optimize the recruitment budget in terms of websites and apps
  • Draft offer letters, employment agreements and employment agreement amendments, ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Test candidates, booking interviews, greeting interviews and completing reference checks
  • Support organization of Launchtrip presence for industry events and attend events, as needed.
  • Reviewing job applicants and conducting phone interviews to identify key talent
  • Providing information and following up with candidates, as required
  • Assist with recruitment initiatives and events, as assigned

HR

  • Develop effective programs and strategies to deliver excellent HR service and results to the company
  • Maintain and improve the Company’s administrative HR processes, including but not limited to benefits administration, onboarding process, immigration administration, employee development and performance documentation, talent acquisition, and payroll admin
  • Maintain digital and physical employee files ensuring all paperwork is signed, accounted for and filed accordingly
  • Support and contribute to ongoing research, communications, KPI tracking and reporting associated with quadruple bottom line activities for Launchtrip in order to drive successful programs
  • Ensure data integrity in HRIS (BambooHR)
  • Draft employment agreements, amendments, employee change letters, employee verification letters, immigration support documents and assist with preparation of departure paperwork ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Assist the Company’s finance team in the processing of onboarding and payroll
  • Answer general HR queries from employees regarding benefits, payroll and associated processes
  • Process and maintain all employee benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes in the Company’s Great West Life benefits administration system
  • Play an active role in the health and safety initiatives of the office
  • Assist with new hire orientation process initiatives
  • Assist in the coordination of HR projects and reporting
  • Assist with maintenance of the employee database in BambooHR
  • Follow up and communicate in a timely and positive manner in response to all employee requests
  • Ensure a high quality, service driven employee experience throughout all employee interactions
